City Supports Collaboration and Innovation Between Regions

Being the host for the Innovative Government Award (IGA) 2025, the Jakarta government is ready to collaborate and open opportunities for regions throughout Indonesia to showcase their best innovations.

This is an honor for us 

City Secretary Government Assistant, Sigit Wijatmoko said, it is an honor for the Jakarta government to host the event to strengthen innovation networks at the national level.

"This is an honor for us to host and welcome all change agents from various regions to gather, discuss, and collaborate in building the nation through the IGA 2025 series," he expressed, at the opening of the Innovative Government Award (IGA) 2025 at Kempinski Grand Ballroom, Central Jakarta, Monday (8/12).

He asserted, regional innovation is an important part of improving the quality of service to the community, as mandated in Law Number 23/2014.

Innovation not only drives faster and more responsive public services but also enhances the effectiveness and accountability of governance.

However, he reminded that the process of innovation is not without challenges, ranging from the need to strengthen institutional capacity to resource limitations and the importance of improving cross-sector coordination.

"May the experiences, ideas, and lessons from this forum be realized into policies and programs that have a direct impact on the community," he explained.

At the end of his speech, he expressed his gratitude to all the regional heads and representatives present.

He also expressed appreciation to the Home Ministry through the National Policy Strategy Agency (BSKDN) for the trust placed in Jakarta as the host of IGA 2025.

"Let's continue moving forward, strengthen collaboration, and bring breakthroughs that take Indonesia further," he closed.
